Hemp Honey Mint Mojito

Looking for a cool, delicious way to beat the heat in the dog days of summer? Why not try classic favorite with a hempy twist at your end-of-summer picnic, bbq or party! Make it with or without the rum for a sweet and minty way to cool down.
For the tea:
- 8 cups water
- 10 bags of green mint tea
Cold brew 10 bags of green mint tea overnight or longer for stronger flavor. Cover tea bags with eight cups of cold water and place tea in refrigerator for 15-24 hours.
For the simple syrup:
Honey Lime Simple Syrup
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- ¾ cup Double Strength Raw Relief Colorado Hemp Honey
- 1/2 cup chopped mint
- Heat all of the ingredients for the simple syrup in a saucepan and bring to a full boil. Remove from heat and let stand until cooled to room temperature. Strain the mint leaves through a fine mesh strainer, discard the mint leaves, and refrigerate the syrup.
To make the cocktail:
For each mojito:
2 Tablespoons honey mint simple syrup
4 mint leaves
1 oz white rum (optional)
1/2 cup brewed iced green mint tea
In a cup, combine simple syrup, rum, and ice cubes. Top with tea. Stir well.
Garnish with fresh cucumber, mint leaves, and lemon rounds.
