Infused Honeys for the holidays!

Try one of these delicious and healthy infused honeys!




Hot Honey


Good for spicy hot toddies or drizzled on pizza and cheese boards.


2-4 hot chiles (Fresno, Holland, Thai) thinly sliced

1 cup Frangiosa Farms Raw Honey


Bring chiles and honey to a bare simmer in a small saucepan over low heat. Let cook 1 hour over low heat to infuse. Taste honey and adjust heat with another chile or 2, remove from stove, and let sit 30 minutes. Transfer to a small jar. Cover and chill. Hot honey can be kept for three months in the refrigerator.



Seeded Honey


Delicious on yogurt or toast, and a lovely accompaniment for cheese boards.


1 cup Frangiosa Farms Raw Honey

2 tbsp black sesame seeds

2 tbsp poppy seeds

2 tbsp hemp seeds

2 tbsp flax seeds


Combine all ingredients and stir well. Transfer to a small jar. Store seeded honey at room temperature for up to five days.


Candied Elecampane Root


It's bitter and sweet and can be infused into hot lemon water in the morning. Elecampane is good for sore throats and coughs, and respiratory health in general. It also serves as an immune-system booster.


1 cup Frangiosa Farms Raw Honey

4 ounces chopped elecampane root, fresh or dried



Slice roots into bite-sized pieces and fill half a small jar. Cover the roots with honey. Turn over the jar every day for a few days to help the infusion along. To treat a cough or cold, chew the candied root, or steep in hot water as an herbal
